complicated check-incramped room

The check-in process reminded me of an interrogation. i had to fill out forms by hand and surrender my id twice (once wasn't enough, apparently). the room was also a bit of a letdown. It felt cramped and cluttered. i'm pretty sure my closet at home is bigger.

The staff was genuinely kind and helpful. They were very good too. My room had classic French style, with lovely details. The room was cleaned daily, and felt fresh each time I returned after touring.

The hotel is wonderfully quiet, despite being in an ideal location near cafes and restaurants. It is close to a metro station for easy access to other areas. Notre Dame and the Louvre are within walking distance.

The room included a seating area and a comfortable bed. The shower room had a loo and nice towels. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are spacious. I had a restful experience in the room.
